I’m so excited for my new friend Daphanie as she prepares to welcome a baby girl, and I am excited to be able to go photograph her new bundle of joy as soon as she arrives. 

Spring break took us south to Arkansas so the nuggets could spend some time with Grandpa and Grandma. Grandpa decided a day trip to the Oklahoma Aquarium might just be a fun adventure for the kids, and well my camera ate it up a well. Here are my favorites from the day. who knows maybe one of them will show up at the Iowa State Fair!

I’m not much a of a writer so I will keep it short. These have to be the most beautiful cookies ever, handmade with love by a high school classmate of mine,  her musical abilities are just as beautiful as her cookies and her personality. I ordered these particular cookies from Purdy Cookies  to send to school with the nuggets for their half birthday celebration. One teacher said they were to beautiful to eat. Trust me they taste just as good as they look.
